Role: Tester

Experience: 2+ years

Location: Kochi

Main responsibilities:

� Adhere to test processes set and agreed with the Test Manager.
� Perform analysis of user stories for the release (raising clarification where needed) to assist with
     the Test Case design
� Complete knowledge transfer for the product under test to understand the solution including
      integration points
� Understand the test approach and scope agreed upon as per the test plan
� Create test cases/test scenarios/test scripts based on requirements
� Execute test scripts for new or existing components/configuration/hardware
� Reporting defects in JIRA as per the agreed defect management process, responding in a timely
     manner if further information is required to progress to resolution
� Ensure all potential production �show-stopper� are identified and reported correctly to all the
     project stakeholders prior to sign off for release to Production.
� Re-testing of resolved issues
� Maintenance of the test artefacts (Test Cases, Test Scenarios, Test Scripts) to ensure the regression
     pack is always up to date
� Work to the agreed release project plan, ensuring all deliverables are met
� Provide input to the Test Team/Test Manager for process improvements


Required skills and Experience:

� 2+ year�s experience in a test environment, team or function
� Analysis skills to interpret and understand user stories
� Demonstrable knowledge of SDLC including Test Methodologies and in particular Waterfall
� Strong User Acceptance Testing focus
� Excellent written and oral communication skills
� Methodical and disciplined approach
� Ability to manage own deadlines effectively
� Experience of using defect tracking tools such as JIRA
� Experience of using Test Management tools such as TestRail
� Proficient in creating and understand Test Scripts
� Ability to manage own deadlines effectively

Desirable Skills and Experience
� ISTQB Foundation in Software Testing
� Software testing experience in the Gaming/Betting Industry
